Massage has a number of benefits for all round health including physical and psychological benefits.  It can help to reduce muscle tension, reduce anxiety and stress, increase joint mobility and flexibility , increase circulation and improve recovery of soft tissue injuries.  At Foveaux Therapy we offer a variety of different massages.

WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF MASSAGE:

Neuromuscular Therapy

A highly specialised technique which involves the use of precise deep pressure. Used to address muscular dysfunction and postural imbalance.  Ideal for acute or chronic pain such as migraines.

Therapeutic Massage

Aimed specifically for injuries or specific pain.  Deep pressure is used to break up 'knots' in muscle tissue that may restrict movement and the circulation of much needed nutrients.

Pregnancy Massage

Recommended after the 1st trimester.  Completely safe and deeply relaxing for you and the baby. 

Sports Massage

Aimed at specific muscle groups used for your sport. Warm up with a pre-event massage, or use a post-event massage for recovery, flushing of toxins and maintenance.

Relaxing Massage

A general massage for relaxing.
